IOU Admin and Academic staff present papers at ICODeL international conference

Senior members of the International Open University (IOU) Administrative and Academic staff presented papers at ICODeL, a biennial international conference series on open and distance e-learning (ODeL), launched in Manila, Philippines in 2012.

The conference aims to provide a forum for distance education online and e-learning scholars, practitioners and policymakers to share and reflect on experiences, and collaboratively create and explore spaces and possibilities for ODeL for development. 

ICODeL 2021 was held as a virtual conference from 13 to 15 October 2021

The IOU Administrative and Academic staff presented 2 papers at the virtual conference. 

1. Paper title:  "Undergraduate Studies in Advanced Years of Age: A Case Study of the International Open University."

Authors: Syeda Madeeha Bokhari (Associate Registrar, IOU) and Dr. Cherno Omar Barry (President/Vice Chancellor, IOU)

2. Paper title: "Disruptions Caused by Sudden Shift in the Mode of Learning Due to COVID-19: A Case Study of University Students of Bangladesh".

Author: Amina Afroz (Lecturer, Department of Islamic Studies, IOU)
