The International Open University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Cherno Omar Barry met senior staff of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education during his current tour of the Republic of Mozambique. 

The IOU VC presented an introduction of the IOU and discussed official procedures for the recognition and registration of the IOU in Mozambique. Other discussions at the meeting centered on scholarships and additional courses that the IOU can offer the Mozambique government.
