The International Open University (IOU) Deputy Vice Chancellor (Admin), Sh. Muhammad West signed a partnership proposal with Faith Consulting (FC), a Canada-based video consulting platform connecting international seekers of Islamic and conventional knowledge to professional Muslim mentors worldwide.

 

The IOU-Faith Consulting collaboration aims to:

• Improve the outreach of both platforms (IOU and FC)

• Help students have a better and a stronger understanding of Islam

• Provide students with practical experience when entering the corporate world

• Boost the graduate employability rates for IOU students

• Help students learn vital life skills like time management, emotional intelligence etc.

• Provide numerous opportunities and benefits such as internship opportunities to five top students recommended by the IOU which would allow IOU students to gain experience and insight into the corporate world. The internship duration is typically between three and four months.
