Caribbean Scholarships

The International Open University (IOU), in collaboration with Joud Charity in Kuwait, is offering 50 scholarships to eligible students from the Caribbean to join its Bachelor’s in Islamic Studies program. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about studying Islam and serving the Ummah, particularly in regions where access to quality Islamic education may be limited.

About the Scholarship Program

One of the core values that guide IOU is the belief that education is a powerful tool for the dissemination of authentic Islamic knowledge. With this in mind, our institution remains committed to providing quality education while also encouraging students to share the knowledge they have gained with others, making it a requirement for graduation.

These 50 scholarships aim to support those who are deeply committed to spreading the message of Islam. This focus ensures that those who receive these scholarships are well-equipped with the foundational knowledge needed to serve as effective du’at (callers to Islam). Through this initiative, IOU strives to contribute to a brighter future for the global ummah, and enable a new generation of du’at who will continue to propagate Islam to the world with wisdom, integrity, and compassion.
