Dr Wasîm Ahmad earned a PhD in Islamic Studies from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. The title of his thesis was ‘A Critical and Comparative Study of the Orientalist Perception of Islam as Reflected in the Writings of William Montgomery Watt and Kenneth Cragg.’ Prior to PhD, Dr Wasim Ahmad earned a Master’s in Arabic Language and Literature from the renowned Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh, India.
Dr Ahmad has been associated with many higher education institutions for the past twenty years and some of his areas of interest are innovation, peace, and contemporary issues.
