Well-known Islamic speaker Mufti Ismail Menk was Guest of Honor at the 11th Online IOU Convocation, 2025. In his speech to graduates, he congratulated IOU students, staff and administration, for making Islamized education available globally. He encouraged students to avail of the unique academic opportunity the International Open University offers and continue on the path to gaining knowledge.

Mufti Ismail Menk is the Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe and head of the fatwa department for the Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe.
