Assalamu Alaikum,

The team of Islamic Education & Research Academy (iERA) is currently visiting Africa and gave a speech:  "Mission Africa" They have left Tanzania and their tour there was co-hosted by Islamic Online University and The Islamic Foundation.

The most momentous moment for the team was at Rumonge town where 45 people embraced Islam after a da’wah by the brothers there in one gathering.

Sunday the 2nd Dec, 2012 came the big event, a huge conference at the biggest conference hall in Tanzania, The Diamond Jubilee Hall, which was packed by about 7,000 people eager to hear from their brothers from the other side of the world. The event was also broadcast live by Radio Imaan and picked up by many Islamic Media channels in the country. At Diamond Jubilee, brother Yusuf Chambers and Jamshed Javed gave speeches. Brother Jamshed Javed gave a speech on  what Muslims are supposed to do to qualify for the Jannat. IOU was also promoted by a team of sisters and brothers where brochures explaining IOU, one-on-one explanations and a number of people registered their names promising to make a further follow-up at the IOU Office in Tanzania.

May Allwah (Subhaanahuu wa Taala) reward iERA for every step they have taken across the continent of Africa and may He bless their work with more fruits of people embracing Islam and committing themselves to da’wah to serve Islam. Ameen.
