IOU President Dr. Cherno Omar Barry attends e-learning Africa conference in Rwanda

The International Open University President Dr. Cherno Omar Barry is attending eLearning Africa annual conference and exhibition as a Gambian representative of the IOU.  e-Learning Africa is the largest and most comprehensive knowledge-sharing event for technology-enhanced education, training and skills on the African continent. Established in 2005, Africa's largest conference and exhibition on technology-supported learning, training, and skills development, eLearning Africa is a network of experts, practitioners, policymakers and investors committed to the future of education and training.

The 15th Edition of eLearning Africa is being held from 11 – 13 May, 2022 in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda at the Kigali Convention Center on the theme "A New Purpose for Education." Kigali has become known for its ICT-based initiatives in a variety of sectors and services.
