IOU promotion at Mumbai Burooj Quiz

On the 16th of January 2011, the Mumbai team of Islamic Online University set up a stall at the Burooj Quiz Competition. Many Islamic schools took part in this quiz competition, with over 400 children. And total audience at the event crossed over 650. It was heart warming to  see the children competing with each other for the pleasure of Allah, They had studied so much about Islam that it motivated the elders to take up the initiative to learn more about our religion. More information about the Burooj quiz can be found at www.burooj.org

Alhamdullilah many people showed interest in IOU, Some registered their email ids for further correspondence. They were given a presentation about IOU, which explains the aim and purpose of IOU stressing the importance of seeking Islamic knowledge.

The people visiting the stall were from all kinds of backgrounds, from teachers to IT professionals to businessmen and even school children showed interest. IOU got good response from people of all ages, It really highlighted the fact that we need to seek knowledge from cradle to the grave. People were impressed by the fact that learning about Islam can be so easy and it can be done from the comfort of your home, They liked the level of professionalism in IOU, and the stress for authenticity, affordability.

Because of Allah’s help and the efforts of the Mumbai team of IOU , we got many people who were interested in the Islamic Online University’s BAIS degree program. IOU is also looking forward to strengthen the relationships with Burooj and IIC and other Dawah organizations in India, Various plans have been chalked out to make Islamic knowledge readily available for everyone.
