IOU Tanzania branch has launched a scholarship program in which Muslim students who qualify to join IOU BA in Islamic studies but have no means to pay for students fee will benefit from the scholarship program. The funds for paying students fees has been contributed by a number of well-wishers (Alhul khayr) in and around Dar es Salaam as their swadaqatun jaariyah (continueing sadaqah). Among the conditions to earn oneself the scholarships is that;- one has to be a practicing Muslim, unable to pay, qualify for BA, join Diploma for at least a month to see his/her commitment before payment for him/her is made. May Allah reward those who have volunteered to sponsor students at IOU and we request other Muslims in Tanzania and beyond with financial means to emulate this noble deed InshaAllah.
