The IOU Vice Chancellor Dr. Cherno Omar Barry met with members of BAKWATA, The National Muslim Council of Tanzania, during his ongoing tour of the country. BAKWATA is a well-established Islamic organization registered since 1968, well recognized in Tanzania and internationally. The purpose of the meeting was to establish a strong and long-lasting partnership between International Open University and Bakwata Online Academy (Future: Bakwata University).
