The National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority (NAQAA), a UNEVOC designated center for technical and vocational education and training based in The Gambia, has granted full accreditation for a period of four years to the following programs at the International Open University (IOU): 
• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
• Bachelor of Science in Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance (B. Sc)
• Bachelor of Science in Psychology (B. Sc)

The NAQAA Governing Council Chief Executive Officer Dr. Gibril JAW congratulated the IOU following the Governing Council’s decision which has come into effect from 21 December, 2021.
