A productive and insightful meeting was held on 8 May, 2026 at the IOU HQ in The Gambia to officially welcome the newly appointed IOU Student Executive (SE) and the newly elected IOU SE President Foday Jawla.

During the session, the IOU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Makie Taal shared valuable advice, guidance, and expectations, encouraging the executives to uphold responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and commitment in serving the student body and the university community.
