IOU Founder-Chancellor Prof Dr Bilal Philips held a meeting with Amana Bank Management
at the Amana Bank Headquarters on 12 April, 2024.

The purpose of the meeting was to establish collaborations between IOU and Amana Bank in the following areas:

1. In the provision of Internship for Islamic Banking and Finance students at the IOU.
2. In the provision of short courses for Amana Bank staff.
3. To provide bachelors degrees, Masters of Islamic Banking and finance programs to the staff who want to pursue further studies
4. To let Amana Bank provide scholarships as part of their CSR to the Tanzanian students who want to pursue their studies in Islamic Banking and Finance
