The 6th IOUCRIS 2025 online conference commenced on May 3, 2025 at 8 AM UTC with an introduction by Prof Dr Nissar Ahmad Yatoo, Master of Ceremonies and Conference Convener.

The opening du'a was recited by Prof Tajuddeen Sa'ad, Associate Professor and HoD, Psychology, IOU.

IOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Makie Taal inaugurated the conference and addressed the audience with opening welcome remarks. He conveyed best wishes to organizers and participants on behalf of the IOU Founder-Chancellor Prof Dr Bilal Philips.

IOUCRIS Chairman, IOU Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) Prof Dr Muhammad Ahsan congratulated participants and organizers on the occasion and prayed for the success of the conference.

Keynote Speaker Prof. Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah Vice-Chancellor, Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh gave a speech regarding the situation of Rohingya refugees.

Director of IOU Directorate of Research and Publications, Prof Dr Afroza Bulbul gave a vote of thanks at the opening session of the 6th IOUCRIS, 2025.
