Can I join BA ALS if I don’t know Arabic?

Yes, you can! Students with no prior knowledge of Arabic are encouraged to take Arabic 100. It is a pre-beginner, standalone course designed for students who cannot yet read or write in Arabic. It provides a foundation in Arabic letters, pronunciation, basic reading and writing skills. You may enroll in Arabic 100 before applying for the BA ALS program or alongside your initial semester courses, based on your comfort level and readiness.
