MoU signed with Universitas Terbuka (UT), Indonesia

IOU Founder-Chancellor Prof Dr. Bilal Philips attended a virtual ceremony to mark the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rector of Universitas Terbuka, Prof Ojat Darojat, on 21 June, 2024.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Cherno Omar Barry (Vice Chancellor), Dr. Afroza Bulbul (Director of Research and Publication) and IOU Indonesia Representatives.
Universitas Terbuka officials included Prof. Ojat Darojat, M.Bus., Ph.D. (Rector); Prof. Dr. Chanif Nurcholis, M.Si. (Chair of the Senate); Rahmat Budiman, S.S., M. Hum., Ph.D. (Vice Rector); Prof. Dra. Dewi Artati Padmo Putri, M.A., Ph.D. (Chair of the Institute of Research); Deans, Directors and other staff members.
The event commenced with an opening speech by IOU Founder-Chancellor Prof. Dr Bilal Philips.
This was followed by an opening speech by the Rector, Universitas Terbuka, Prof. Ojat Darojat.

The IOU-UT Teaching collaboration program is intended to enable faculty members to collaborate with colleagues in other countries, providing opportunities for personal enrichment through sharing experiences, professional development, and curriculum internationalization.
The Joint Research program will include exchanging articles and author and editor collaboration in the Parties’ journals to facilitate the faculty members’ research collaboration.
