A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the International Open University (IOU) represented by IOU DRP Director Prof Dr Afroza Bulbul and Eastern University (EU) represented by Prof Dr Md Abbas Ali Khan, Director, Center for Research and Development (CRD) in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 22 July 2025.
The two institutions will collaborate to organize the 7th IOU-EU Conference on Research and Integrated Sciences (7th IOU-EUCRIS 2025) onsite in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The conference theme is ‘Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Science, Business, and Islamic Paradigms’.
The MoU aims to foster international academic collaboration and knowledge exchange, with a special focus on the integration of Artificial Intelligence across diverse disciplines.

Conference Modality :

Day 1: Face-to-face sessions hosted at Eastern University, including the livestreamed
inaugural session.

Day 2: Online sessions hosted by International Open University
The following committees shall be formed for efficient coordination and execution of the
conference:

Advisory Committee: 10 Members (3 from IOU, 7 from EU)

Executive Committee: (3 from IOU, & from EU)

Technical Committee: 12 Members (6 from each institution)

Finance Committee: 4 Members (2 from each institution)

Abstracts and full papers shall be submitted via the official conference website and email.
The Technical Committee, with support from the IOU Conference Secretariat, shall
manage paper review, acceptance/rejection, and technical logistics.

The Finance Committee shall oversee budgeting, financial monitoring, and reporting.

Conference Abstract Proceedings will be published online by IOU. Selected full papers will be published in the Journal of Integrated Sciences (JIS)/The Eastern University Journal without any publication fees.
