IOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Makie Taal is currently attending the 16th Quadrennial Association of African Universities (AAU) General Conference at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), Rabat, Morocco.

The AAU General Conferences are a premier gathering of higher education stakeholders in Africa to, among others, assess ongoing and future AAU programs, showcase scientific presentations and discussions on the themes and sub-themes, and facilitate meaningful deliberations.

This year’s conference also serves as a platform for stakeholders to engage in high-level discussions, broker meaningful partnerships and improve networking between and among members of the African higher education community, and with other international academic communities.
