The Registrar’s Office at the International Open University (IOU) oversees a broad range of critical academic and administrative functions. These include managing student registration, confirming admissions, evaluating transfer credits, maintaining academic records, recording grades, resetting tests, granting exemptions, issuing transcripts, and verifying enrollment and graduation status. Additionally, the office is responsible for issuing diplomas, scheduling midterm and final examinations at exam centers, and managing the registration and admission process for new program launches. The Registrar’s Office also oversees the operations of the University Secretariat.

The Graduation Office, operating under the Registrar’s Office, serves as the primary point of contact for all graduation-related services. Furthermore, the Registrar’s Office formulates and implements all relevant academic and administrative policies, with the approval of the appropriate internal authorities.

It is the primary goal and objective of RO to provide essential administrative support to the students, staff and faculty in the most efficient and effective manner. Through its various operational tasks and responsibilities, the Registrar’s Office at the International Open University (IOU) works to provide pathways for students from all walks of life ensuring accessibility, support students to join IOU no matter where they are located in the world and therefore facilitate our students as they develop their knowledge and skills to contribute to the respective communities and the global community as responsible and law abiding citizens, working with the motto, Be the Leaders of Tomorrow
