Bridge to MA in Arabic Admission Test Policy applies to:
- Bridge to MA in Arabic Applicants (who do not have a bachelor’s degree in Arabic language and linguistics or did not study undergraduate level studies in Arabic medium)
Eligibility criteria to sit for the Admission Test
An accredited Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline other than Arabic Language and Linguistics, where the medium of instruction was not Arabic
Exam Structure:
The Admission Test will be fully online.
Passing Grades Table:
Grade | Exemption |

60% and Above | Students are eligible to enroll into the Bridge to MA in Arabic program. |
55-59% | In order to be eligible to join Bridge to MA in Arabic Program the student must study AMDB 301 and AMDB 302 courses at the IOU. |
50-54% | In order to be eligible to join Bridge to MA in Arabic Program the student must study AMDB 201, AMDB 202, AMDB 301 and AMDB 302. |
40-49% | In order to be eligible to join Bridge to MA in Arabic Program the student must study AMDB 101, ALWR 101, AMDB 102, ALWR 102, AMDB 201, AMDB 202, AMDB 301 and AMDB 302 courses at the IOU. |
39% & below | In order to be eligible to join Bridge to MA in Arabic Program, student has to enroll in BA in Arabic Language and Linguistics program at the IOU and can only repeat the test after 1 year. |
