Present were the Sh. Siraj Rahman Registrar, Br Mahmoud, the college Secretary, Br. Salim Kifaru and the IOU Representative, Br Theophil Kipoma.
Sh. Sir Rahman College is situated in the northern part of Mombasa and is expected to serve a number of towns in that area.

The IOU VC Prof. Makie Taal had a discussion with Sh. Muhammad Dor about the development of IOU projects in Mombasa. Sh Muhammad Dor is the Imam of Masjid Mbaruk in the famous Mombasa Old Town, and also the former Ambassador of Kenya to Oman. He is the Chairman of CIPK - Council of Imams and Muslim Preachers, Kenya.
