The purpose of this policy is to define the policy of ranking Intensive Arabic Program Top Students.

Policy Statement

The Intensive Arabic Program (IAP) is a 2-year program consisting of 8 courses (2 courses per semester), with concentration on reading, writing, listening and basic conversation skills. Each semester consists of 2 sessions.

In each session, the top 3 students will be ranked and announced on the IOU main website and in the social media with effect from July 6, 2015.

Note: The previous rankings of top 10 students will remain on the website without modification. Furthermore, this policy is subject to review once student count in IAP increase significantly.

This policy will allow the Intensive Arabic Program students to gain motivation and encouragement in their studies in a constructive manner.
