Overview

The Diploma in Business Administration (ABA) is a 2-year program that introduces students to the basic tenets in the field of the business administration. The emphasis is put on the development of the students’ communication skills and business decision-making capabilities with ethical reasoning.

Typically, the business administration programs are designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the basic functional areas of business and their interconnection, while also allowing for specialization in a particular area. However, this subject is often taught completely from a secular perspective. Hence, students remain unaware of the rich legacy of the Islamic principles in the fields of accounting, management, finance, entrepreneurship and leadership.
