> Program Overview

Overview

The Bridge to Master’s in Islamic Studies (BMAIS) is an admission pathway to a master’s degree in Islamic Studies. It comprises a specialized curriculum derived from the Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies (BAIS). Designed for students who wish to pursue a master’s degree in Islamic Studies, the BMAIS provides a solid foundation for those without a prior background in this subject. Successful completion will allow students to easily transition into the master’s program without the need to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies (BAIS).

Entry Requirements

To qualify for admission into the BMAIS Program, candidates must hold an undergraduate degree or its equivalent in a field other than Islamic Studies.

Program Structure and Duration

The duration of the BMAIS is one and a half years, divided into three semesters. Students have a maximum of three years to complete the program on a full-time basis.

Important Note

Please be aware that the Bridge to Master’s in Islamic Studies (BMAIS) is not a formal academic qualification from IOU. It is specifically designed to prepare students for the MAIS program and is valid only for this intended purpose. All prescribed courses or modules will be studied for non-degree purposes (NDP).
