The minimum requirements for the admission to the Higher Diploma in Islamic Studies (Bridge to MAIS) program are:

(1) Undergraduate degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed., B.B.A. and so on) from an accredited university in any field other than Islamic studies. 

(2) Graduate degree (M.A., M.Sc., M.Ed., M.B.A., M.Phil., and so on) or above from an accredited university in any field other than Islamic studies.

(3) Undergraduate or graduate degree in Islamic studies from an accredited university for those who wish to enhance their understanding of the courses and familiarize with the IOU study patterns before commencing the IOU MAIS, in sha Allaah.

NOTE: Applicants who do not meet the above requirements, but would like to study the courses taught under the Higher Diploma (Bridge to MAIS) program may join the BAIS degree program and enroll in these courses.
