The International Open University (IOU) participated in the MAC (Muslim Association of Canada) Convention held from May 16-18, 2026.

Br. Abdulrahman, IOU USA Representative, alongside the Toronto Student Committee, played a key role throughout the visit by providing continuous support and on-ground assistance. Special appreciation is also extended to Sr. Aisha Philips, Head of CRP, for her motivation and encouragement, which contributed significantly to this positive outcome.

The event was a remarkable success, resulting in 26 sign-ups, the highest number achieved at any event to date. The event also included the receipt of an unexpected donation.
