The International Open University (IOU) Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Makie Taal, on behalf of the IOU Governing Council and Chancellor entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Mykolo Romerio University (MRU) represented by their Rector, Dr. Inga Žalėnienė, during a side meeting whilst attending the IAUP Semi-Annual conference in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The MOU will focus on exchanges of faculty members, students, and academic materials. In addition the two institutions will jointly conduct activities, seminars, academic meetings, and short-term capacity building training programs. The two institutions will also work on Erasmus+ projects.
