Pic: The IOU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Makie Taal visited the IOU Kenya office on Tuesday, 21 July 2026. He signed the visitors book and commended the work IOU Kenya is doing.

Pic : The IOU VC visited the Islamic University of Kenya (IUK), situated in Kajiado, about 70 km from Nairobi. Present were the IUK VC Dr. Mohamed Abdinoor Dahir, the IUK DVC Dr. Ali Sunkar, IOU Kenya Board member Dr. Fauziya Karama and the IOU Kenya Rep, Br. Theophil Kipoma.

Prof. Malie Taal held discussions on how the two institutions can collaborate for the betterment of the Ummah.

Present were the Umma University VC, Dr. Halima Saado Abdillahi, the Umma University DVC Dr. Abdullahi Ali, the Umma University Head of Finance Br. Abdi Sora Galma, the IOU Kenya Representative Br. Theophil Kipoma and Former IOU Trust Board Member, Dr Dabar Maalim.

The IOU VC held discussions on future collaboration between Umma University and IOU.
