Distinguished keynote speakers, respected session chairs, researchers, faculty members, students, and honored guests,

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu!

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the 8th International Conference on Integrated Sciences (ICIS 2026), organized by the International Open University, The Gambia.

As Conference Convener, I am honored to welcome participants from different countries, institutions, and academic disciplines. Although we are meeting virtually, we are united by a shared commitment to research, knowledge, innovation, and academic collaboration.

This year's theme, “Transforming Knowledge through Innovation, Ethics, and Digital Excellence” is particularly relevant in an era of rapid technological change. As we embrace new technologies and approaches, it is equally important to uphold ethical responsibility, academic integrity, and the responsible use of knowledge for the benefit of society.

With over 130 research paper presentations, the 8th ICIS provides a valuable platform for researchers to share their work, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.

I sincerely thank our keynote speakers, session chairs, reviewers, authors, organizing committee members, technical team, and all those who have contributed to this conference. Your dedication and support have made this gathering possible.

I encourage all participants to engage actively in the sessions, exchange perspectives, ask questions, and build connections with fellow researchers. May the discussions and ideas shared during these two days inspire new research, meaningful collaborations, and positive contributions to society.
