The Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center team visited the International Open University (IOU) Headquarters in The Gambia on 1 Dec, 2025.

The Centre is established by the Turkish government and is currently operating in over 96 countries. They gave a brief presentation on their interest in collaborating with the IOU team, with one of their key aims being to teach the Turkish language and share Turkish culture.
