The meeting was highly productive and beneficial. Its main objective was to explore ways to strengthen and deepen collaboration with CIFCA, recognized as one of the most trusted organizations in the Islamic Banking and Finance industry in Tanzania.
The following matters were discussed:
Professional Certification — Collaborating on the provision of professional certificates to banks and other organizations within the Islamic Banking and Finance industry.
A New MoU — Formulating a fresh Memorandum of Understanding to guide this collaboration, covering key aspects including the sharing of costs and profits.
Joint Branding — Courses will be conducted under the umbrella of CIFCA, with both organizations' logos displayed together.
Follow-up Engagement — Prof. Makie Taal will organize a meeting between IOU's Islamic Banking and Finance team and CIFCA's management to discuss specific, marketable topics suited to the Tanzanian industry.
Prof. Makie Taal concluded the meeting by confirming that he will brief the IOU Islamic Banking and Finance team and arrange the follow-up meeting with CIFCA's management. IOU will then prepare the first draft of the MoU and share it with CIFCA, after which implementation will begin immediately once all details are finalized.
