Pic : Prof. Makie Taal, Vice Chancellor of the International Open University (IOU), accompanied by Br. Abdala, the IOU Uganda Representative, visited the IOU Learning Center, Lifetime Innovation Learning Center, in Kampala.

The visit was facilitated by Mr. Moses, Sheikh Njuki, IOU students, and the area Chairperson.

During the visit, the Vice Chancellor met with students, giving them an opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, and feedback on IOU operations in Uganda. He acknowledged their concerns and highlighted the improvements and institutional reforms implemented since assuming office, reaffirming the university's commitment to continuous improvement.

The Vice Chancellor assured students that their concerns would be addressed, reiterated the university's commitment to supporting all learners, encouraged former students to resume their studies, and outlined recent institutional restructuring aimed at improving service delivery across the university.
